Bisma Anwar

LMHC, LPC

Bisma Anwar is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life’s emotional challenges. She holds dual master’s degrees in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her work is grounded in evidence-based, compassionate care.

Bisma takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other modalities to help clients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and major life transitions. She is especially passionate about culturally responsive care and works extensively with BIPOC individuals and families, creating a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.

In addition to her clinical practice, Bisma is Project Manager for Clinical Content and Media at Talkspace, a behavioral health platform. Her insights have been featured across major media outlets and she is also co-host of a mental health podcast, Healing Muslim, where she makes therapy concepts approachable and relatable.

Dr. Fareen Malik

DPT

Dr. Fareen Malik, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and holistic wellness practitioner with over 20 years of experience, has helped people reconnect with themselves through movement, healing, and mindful practices. She blends physical therapy, yoga, tai chi, health coaching, and hijama to create a full approach to wellness.

Fareen has also developed comprehensive yoga programs for students from grades 1 through 12, and has created adaptive movement programs for children and adults of varying physical abilities, including those who are wheelchair users.

Passionate about empowering women through education, movement, and self-awareness, she co-creates retreat experiences that support physical healing, emotional balance, and personal growth in a safe and supportive environment. 

Through retreats, group classes, and private sessions, her mission is to help women slow down, realign, and rediscover their strength, both physically and within.

Shireen Quaizar

MS.Ed, NCSP, MCLC

Shireen Quaizar is a Certified School Psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in the NYC public school system. Her work focuses on psychological assessment, behavioral intervention, and strengthening parent-child communication to help families navigate emotional and developmental challenges with clarity and confidence.

In addition to her school-based role, Shireen provides psychotherapy and parent consultation. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling as she works toward licensure, expanding her clinical practice beyond the school setting. She is deeply committed to empowering families and believes that when parents feel supported and emotionally regulated, children thrive.

Her approach integrates cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and body-based regulation practices. She is especially known for incorporating guided meditation and sensory grounding techniques, including aromatherapy, to help clients reconnect with themselves and build resilience. Shireen also serves on the board of the Safeena Foundation and continues to lead workshops that promote emotional well-being, communication, and family connection.
